Our success is driven by skilled and dedicated employees who take pride in their work and strive for excellence every day.Position SummaryStrange Engineering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Operator with at least 2 years of CNC lathe machining experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Mazak lathes, reading blueprints, inspecting precision parts, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC Mazak lathe machines efficiently and safelyInspect finished parts and verify conformance to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsUse precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gaugesMonitor machine performance and maintain quality standardsOperate multiple machines when requiredFollow all company safety procedures and work practicesMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlinesQualificationsMinimum 2 years of CNC lathe machining experienceExperience with Mazak machines preferredAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsSkilled in the use of precision measuring toolsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsSelf-motivated with a strong work ethicAbility to work independently and take initiativeStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlinesBenefitsStrange Engineering offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) Retirement PlanLife InsuranceApply TodayIf you are a dependable CNC machinist looking to grow with an established leader in the racing industry, we encourage you to apply and become part of the Strange Engineering team.
