Job Summary
Weโ€™re looking to hire a hard-working Janitorial Cleaning Technician who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. Youโ€™ll be responsible for all cleaning duties of the exterior of the building and common areas. This includes trash and debris removal, trash pick up throughout the property, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and arranging large bulky items for trash pick up. Other maintenance may include hanging signage, replacing light bulbs and pressure washing. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, has great time management skills, reports to work as scheduled, and takes pride in their job.
Responsibilitiesย 
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building and clean the interior and its exterior
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, clean restrooms, dust, remove trash and other debris, arrange large trash items daily
  • Clean windows, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
  • Wipe up spills and other hazards with a mop
  • Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
  • Use a daily cleaning checklist for areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs
Qualifications
  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
  • Driverโ€™s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
  • Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
  • Excellent stamina and physical health
  • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
