Job Title: Biohazard & Hoarding Cleanup Technician

Location: Vancouver, BC
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / On-call


About the Role

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Biohazard & Hoarding Cleanup Technicians. This role involves cleaning and restoring properties affected by trauma, hoarding, biohazards, and other extreme situations.

This is physically demanding work that requires attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work in challenging environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cleanup of biohazardous materials (Bodily fluids, waste, etc.)
  • Hoarding and extreme clutter removal
  • Safe handling and disposal of contaminated materials
  • Deep cleaning, sanitization, and deodorization
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning chemicals
  • Loading/unloading materials and operating basic equipment
  • Maintaining professionalism and discretion at sensitive sites


Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to lift 25+ lbs repeatedly
  • Comfortable working in environments involving biohazards, strong odors, and extreme conditions
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred)
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE properly
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Must be respectful, discreet, and professional


Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience in cleaning, restoration, construction, or labor work
  • WHMIS or safety certifications
  • Experience with biohazard or trauma cleanup


Compensation & Benefits

  • $25–$40 per hour (based on experience)
