The Company

TRM Innovative Hearth Products is the buyout of several companies that have been merged throughout the years including but not limited to Fireplace Manufacturers Inc., (FMI), and Lennox Industries Hearth Division. The aggregate company included rollups of Marco; Superior Fireplace, which began in the 1930s; stove and insert companies including Country Stoves, established in 1977. FMI, a subsidiary of Desa, rolled up Design Dynamics in vented and vent-free logs in the early 2003 timeframe. Subsequently, the management team from the FMI segment of Desa acquired the assets of their division in 2008. On January of 2023 TRM Equity groups completely purchased IHP and created TRM Innovative Hearth Products.

Job Description:

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible in self-starter, problem solver, enjoys complex technical issues, is passionate and diligent about technology and data security. This position will be based in Russellville, AL with occasional travel to our other locations. The candidate must be flexible enough to work outside normal working hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. The RV IT Support Specialist behavior that supports IHP values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT technical support & assistance to employees both onsite and remotely through phone and email submission.
  • Assist employees with problem solving in the following areas including computers, mobile devices, printers, application, and access to allow work effectively.
  • Maintaining system functionality.
  • Assist with employee training.
  • Understanding the facility network infrastructure and be able to perform network troubleshooting including terminating network cables.


Qualifications:

  • A go-to person for โ€œall things technicalโ€ (e.g., troubleshooting a broken printer that has repeatedly stumped the user).
  • Understanding the importance of IT and security best practices.
  • Understanding the importance of computer systems and applications working effectively to increase productivity.
  • Communicate clearly in written forms of communication such as email, chat, and ticket/help desk updates.
  • Have a willingness to learn.

Must Have:

  • 1-3 yearsโ€™ experience working in an independent IT Support role.
  • Left 25 up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for long periods at a time.


Language Ability:

Position requires fluency in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
