Their responsibilities include ensuring passenger safety, following scheduled routes or itineraries, performing pre-trip inspections, and providing excellent customer service throughout the journey. These drivers often work for charter bus companies and may drive for events such as tours, sports games, or private group outings. They must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.

Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and basic vehicle maintenance is typically required. Excellent customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills are crucial for ensuring a positive passenger experience and handling unexpected situations. These skills and qualifications are essential for providing safe, reliable, and pleasant transportation services during busy weekend schedules.
