Our Opportunity:

The successful candidate will join an established Pediatrics practice providing comprehensive care to a diverse pediatric population, including patients with both common and complex medical conditions.

The physician will work collaboratively with families, primary and specialty care providers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.

Scope of Practice

The practice includes:

  • Preventive Care: Providing comprehensive well-child and well-baby examinations, administering routine immunizations, monitoring growth and development, and performing developmental and behavioral screenings.
  • Health & Wellness: Counseling families on nutrition, sleep, safety, healthy development, and age-appropriate wellness and parenting guidance.
  • Acute Care: Diagnosing and treating common pediatric illnesses and conditions, including ear infections, viral and respiratory illnesses, minor injuries, and other routine pediatric concerns.
  • Chronic Disease Management: Providing ongoing care for pediatric patients with chronic conditions such as asthma, allergies, and other common pediatric health concerns.
  • Minor Procedures: Performing appropriate office-based procedures, including treatment of minor lacerations, simple abscesses, and administration of injections.
  • Care Coordination: Facilitating referrals to pediatric subspecialists when patients require specialized evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Family-Centered Care: Supporting families through open communication, education, shared decision-making, and advocacy to promote the health and well-being of each child.

Newborn Care

The scope of practice includes rounding on newborns at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's nursery. This responsibility is shared among the physicians within the group.

Qualifications

We are seeking a physician who brings strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient and family-centered care.

Candidates must have:

  • A current California Medical License
  • Completion of residency training in General Pediatrics
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Pediatrics
  • A strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a busy, high-quality clinical practice
  • Excellent bedside manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and clinical staff
  • Strong documentation skills, with an emphasis on timely and accurate charting

Compensation

Our compensation philosophy is designed to provide a competitive total compensation and benefits package to our physicians. The total pay range shown below reflects the wide range of factors considered when making compensation decisions, including knowledge and skills, relevant experience and training, education, certifications, licensure, and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.

Pay Range: $233,373 - $305,250 Total Cash Compensation
