We currently have an opening for a Server Technician aka Enterprise Technician in the greater Dallas area. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a great team, receive free training and grow with a winning company. We have full-time and part-time opportunities.

Role: Server Technician/ Enterprise Technician

Location: Des Moines, IA

Pay Rate: $30+/hr

Job Description

In this role you will be delivering infrastructure installation and upgrade services to our customers spanning a large enterprise product line including storage, virtualization, and other networking devices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT field service or infrastructure support, with data center experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of server hardware, networking fundamentals, storage systems, and structured cabling standards for copper and fiber optics
  • Proficient in interpreting technical documentation, including network topology diagrams, rack elevation plans, and design specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong sense of professionalism and customer focus
  • Skilled in multitasking, problem-solving, and maintaining attention to detail
  • Familiarity with and adherence to safety procedures and protocols

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Capability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces and temperature-controlled environments with moderate noise

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, Cisco CCNA; Dell certifications preferred
