Orthopedic Surgery Locum Opportunity Oregon
Position Overview
Seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for clinic, inpatient, and call coverage beginning September 2026. This is an ongoing need with a mix of clinic responsibilities, hospital coverage, rounding, admissions, and orthopedic trauma call.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $410/hour
24-Hour Call: $3180/day
Night Call: $630/shift
Call Back: $590/hour
Schedule
Start Date: September 2026
Initial Coverage Block:
Orientation: September 17
Coverage: September (ending at 7:00 AM)
Ongoing Need:
Approved through January 2027
Monday Friday clinic and hospital coverage
8-hour day shifts
Night call required
Weekend call required
Full-time coverage preferred
Practice Setting
Hospital and Clinic Privileges Required
Inpatient and Outpatient Orthopedic Practice
Critical Access Hospital
21-bed facility
Patient Population
Adults and Pediatrics
Volume
Hospital: Approximately 2 patients per day
Clinic: Approximately patients per day

Requirements
Required
Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
Active Oregon Medical License at time of presentation
BLS Certification
Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 6 months
Case logs demonstrating at least 100 patient encounters/procedures within the previous 24 months representative of requested privileges
Practice Expectations
Provider will work independently
Must be comfortable managing orthopedic trauma cases within privilege scope
Ability to perform both inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care

Active Oregon license is required for submission.
Case logs will be required during credentialing and privilege review.
