Position Information
Position Title: Commercial Carpet Cleaning Technician
Pay: Paid hourly during training. Once you complete training, you will be paid hourly PLUS commission.
Once trained, technicians average between $40,000 and $60,000 per year depending on how driven they are.

What You Will Do

  • Become IICRC certified
  • Follow an electronic schedule.
  • Asses a job to determine what is needed to clean carpet, vinyl, upholstery, and/or tile.
  • Set up/tear down equipment for jobs.
  • Preform repairs – stain removal, dye, stretch, patch, seam repair, etc.
  • Preform odor treatments.
  • Extract water from floods.
  • Dryer vent and A/C drain line clearing.
  • Log mileage and fill out service checklists.
  • Respectfully communicate with properties, residents, and fellow team members.
  • Share the on-call schedule for floods – rotation is currently set at every week and a half for three days, 24-hour availability (no exceptions). Refrain from consuming alcohol while on-call.
  • Lift/carry equipment (70 lbs > or less). May require you to pull it upstairs to apartments on a higher floor.
  • Drive company cargo van to apartment complexes throughout the Tampa Bay area.
  • Maintain a clean van.
  • Operate truck mount machinery.
  • Responsibly mix cleaning chemicals according to Generations procedures.
  • Preform simple math.
  • Maintain equipment inventory list.

  • Have a clean driving record of at least 3 years
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
