CarpentersServing seniors is our way to make a difference.Description:Taylor Community is seeking motivated, quality-driven individuals to join our carpentry team. Our carpenters handle all aspects of remodeling and home improvement, including kitchens, baths, flooring, windows, decks, additions, and full-scale renovations across our three campuses between Wolfeboro and Laconia.These aren't typical construction sites; you'll be working in and around our residents' homes, where respect is paramount. This role involves more than just carpentry; our team interacts with residents and receives valuable training to support the senior population. During weather emergencies, our carpenters also pitch in with snow removal and other tasks. If you're ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!Working as a carpenter involves successfully being able to:- Interpret construction drawings and blueprints - Select, measure, cut, shape, and join wood materials for framing - Repair existing frames - Apply finishes like drywall, paneling, and trim to frameworks - Operate power tools, hand tools, and carpentry equipment - Communicate effectively with contractors and clients - Construct structures in compliance with building codes and regulationsMust be punctual and professional at all times as we are working in our resident's homes.Total Package:Competitive hourly rate in the lakes region. We also offer health, dental and vision for under $100 a month & PTO. Shift differentials for working nights and weekends, and double time on holidays. 401k+Match.
