We have an exciting opportunity for a Cannabis Post-Harvest Technician to join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri medical cannabis market into a reality. Our Cannabis Trimmers/Packagers will work out of our warehouse location in Rock Hill (St. Louis, MO 63144). Full-time employees will receive medical benefits and paid time off. The schedule is Monday-Friday ~7:30 am-4 pm. Starting pay rate is $17/hour. No experience is needed; we will train you for success!

Responsibilities of Cannabis Post-Harvest Technician:

  • Efficiently processes flowers during thepost-productionphase:
    • Preparing and trimming in a quick, precise, and dexterous manner
    • Maintaining the high-quality appearance and structural integrity of the cannabis plant
    • Ensuring the least amount of waste possible is produced
    • Assisting in the product transfer into the dry room
    • Weighing out product accurately to prepare for packaging
    • Recording data in all necessary software platforms
    • Working as part of a team to meet production schedules
    • Assisting in the packaging process as required.
  • Ensures assigned facility area is clean and safe:
    • Maintaining a clean workspace to prevent cross-contamination
    • Ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements for Cannabis Post-Harvest Technician:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High diploma or GED
  • Passion for medical cannabis
  • Strong preference for fast trimmers with experience trimming large volumes in a professional setting
  • Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID by the start date, which includes submitting fingerprints and passing a criminal background check
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays

Preferred, but not required:

  • Horticultural degree
  • Previous professional experience trimming cannabis
  • Gardening production experience, preferably in a regulated field producing for human consumption
  • Manufacturing experience with an understanding of operations
  • Knowledge of medical cannabis law and cannabis medicinal applications

Environment:

The work environment is an environmentally controlled warehouse. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to:

  • Reach, bend, stoop, sit, stand, climb stairs and ladders, crawl into small spaces, walk on uneven terrain, endure extreme temperatures, and manage personal exposure to numerous soil and air contaminants.
