Position Description: About the RoleAt DACUT Cannabis, quality doesn't end when a product is made—it ends when it's packaged, labeled, and prepared for our customers. Every jar, bag, pre-roll, concentrate, edible, and infused product that leaves our processing facility represents our brands and our commitment to excellence.We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Packagers to join our Processing team in Flint. This role is responsible for accurately packaging cannabis products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, cleanliness, and efficiency.The ideal candidate enjoys repetitive, hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and understands that attention to detail is essential in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesProduct PackagingPackage cannabis flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, infused products, and other manufactured products according to company standards.Accurately weigh, count, and portion products while maintaining quality and consistency.Label finished products in accordance with METRC, CRA regulations, and company SOPs.Inspect products for quality before packaging and notify leadership of any concerns.Assemble packaging components including jars, bags, tubes, boxes, labels, inserts, and tamper-evident seals.Quality ControlPerform visual inspections to ensure products meet company quality standards.Verify correct labels, batch numbers, expiration dates, and package information.Maintain product integrity by handling all materials carefully.Identify damaged packaging or defective products before shipment.Compliance & DocumentationFollow all CRA regulations, METRC requirements, and company Standard Operating Procedures.Complete required production and packaging documentation accurately.Maintain accurate production records throughout each shift.Ensure packaging areas remain audit-ready at all times.Production OperationsMeet daily packaging goals while maintaining quality and accuracy.Assist with product preparation, staging, and workstation setup.Support inventory counts and material reconciliation as needed.Keep packaging lines supplied with materials and notify leadership when supplies are running low.Facility & Team SupportMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.Assist with cleaning workstations and equipment at the beginning and end of each shift.Collaborate with Packaging Leads, Processing Technicians, Inventory, and Compliance teams to ensure efficient production.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED.Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Strong work ethic and reliability.Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain all required state cannabis credentials.PreferredPrevious manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, food production, pharmaceutical, or cannabis experience.Experience working in a regulated production environment.Familiarity with METRC or inventory tracking systems.Experience meeting production quotas while maintaining quality standards.Experience working with GMP or quality control procedures.What We OfferCompetitive hourly payMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time OffEmployee discount programCareer advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing organizationCollaborative team environmentComprehensive on-the-job trainingOpportunity to work with one of Michigan's fastest-growing vertically integrated cannabis companiesApply TodayIf you're dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements throughout the shift.Maintain manual dexterity to package, label, sort, and inspect cannabis products.Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and twist frequently.Work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, hairnets, beard covers (if applicable), safety glasses, and other protective gear.Maintain visual acuity to inspect products, read labels, and identify quality concerns.Work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature-controlled production areas.Safely operate production equipment and follow all safety procedures.Ability to remain focused and meet production quotas while adhering to compliance and quality standards.Regular and reliable attendance with the ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed. $15.00 - $16.00 Hourly
