What is a weekend campground host?

Weekend campground hosts are individuals or couples who volunteer or are employed to manage and oversee campgrounds primarily during weekends. Their responsibilities typically include greeting campers, assisting with check-ins, providing information about the campground and local area, ensuring rules are followed, and performing light maintenance tasks. Weekend hosts play a crucial role in enhancing the camping experience by being available to help guests during the busiest times. This is often a seasonal or part-time role, ideal for those who enjoy spending time outdoors and interacting with people.
