Job Title: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - EEG Technologist
Location: Portland, OR

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled EEG Technologist to join a Neuro Diagnostics team within a large teaching hospital. This role involves performing electroencephalography (EEG) studies and supporting the diagnosis and monitoring of neurological conditions in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine, portable, continuous, and specialized EEG studies.
  • Prepare patients for testing and explain procedures.
  • Apply electrodes and ensure proper signal acquisition and recording quality.
  • Monitor patients during EEG procedures and document relevant clinical observations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
Requirements
  • EEG Technologist experience required
  • Strong understanding of neurodiagnostic testing and EEG procedures
  • Ability to work independently in an acute care environment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Experience with Epic preferred
