MercyOne Genesis is excited to welcome a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to our expanding team at our Level III Trauma Center. This is a rare opportunity to step into a new, rapidly growing orthopedic practice where your expertise, innovative mindset, and passion for trauma care will directly shape the future of the program.

We're looking for a surgeon with strong training in orthopedic traumatology or adult reconstruction/total joints who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll work on complex cases, enjoy strong system-wide support, and practice with the autonomy and resources you need to excel.

Position Highlights

Qualifications

  • MD or DO

  • Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty

  • ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible required

  • Ability to obtain Iowa and Illinois medical licenses

  • Strong clinical and surgical skill set with a commitment to quality and evidence-based care

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  • Open to graduating fellows and experienced surgeons

Compensation & Benefits

  • Two-year guaranteed salary: $730,000, plus production

  • Straight production model beginning year 3

  • Potential to earn $1M+ annually

  • $100,000 recruitment incentive

  • Relocation assistance up to $15,000
