Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing

Shift: Day 4x9-Hour
Hours per Shift: 9 hours (07:00 - 16:30)
Experience: Minimum 1 year required, previous charge experience preferred
License: Active RN license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
Must-Have:
- Experience circulating, performing colonoscopies, and managing esophageal varices and banding
- Proficient in EGD, scrubbing, and specimen handling/labeling
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
Description:
Shifts consist of four 9-hour days, scheduled Monday through Friday.
Expect 8-10 call shifts per month, including weeknight call from 15:30 to 07:00 and weekend call from 07:00 to 07:00.
Weekend requirements include on-call duty, with one full weekend of call each month.
Diagnoses encountered include screening colonoscopies, diagnostic upper endoscopies, food boluses, and upper and lower GI bleeds.
Special equipment utilized includes ERBE, Neptun dilators, and Blakemore.
Candidates must have experience with balloon dilators, disposable grounding pads, electrosurgical units, and various forceps and foreign body equipment.
Required skills encompass inpatient and outpatient endoscopy settings.
The daily census includes handling 15 patients with one procedure room and one bed available.
Support services include respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
Candidates must be 100% nicotine-free.
No first-time travelers are accepted.
RTO must be included at the time of submission.
