Job description

Kalapawai Cafe and Deli Waimanalo is hiring for the position of line cook.
We seek friendly, well-organized, and energetic individuals to join our kitchen crew.
36 - 40 hrs. a week. full time/part time
$16/hr.+ tips (avg $4- $6/hr. added to paycheck) = $20 - $22/hr.
We offer medical with Kaiser Permanente or HMSA (paid by employer)

Requirements/Responsibilities

All of our kitchen positions require:
-Non-slip shoes.
-Prompt attendance is a must!!!
-Flexible availability, weekends, and holidays
-Must be very clean, well organized, and able to move from station to station efficiently
-Basic knife skills are a bonus but we are willing to train
-Daily kitchen prep for both lunch and dinner services
-General cleaning and facilities maintenance
-Other duties may be assigned from time to time
-Ability to work in a team in a very fast-paced environment
-Adhere to the chef's recipes and preferred cooking techniques
-Food safety and sanitation is key!
