We are looking for a CAD Drafter to turn rough sketches and design concepts into precise, working technical drawings. You will handle everything from routine layouts to complex drafting projects, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and work closely with our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting: Turn rough product designs, sketches, and layouts into detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
Problem Solving: Identify and fix mechanical problems within drawings.
Engineering Support: Assist engineers with daily tasks and help design modifications for existing systems.
Standards: Follow standard industry guidelines and advanced drafting techniques to complete projects accurately.
Requirements
Proven experience as a CAD Drafter handling routine and complex projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and drafting standards.
Ability to follow established guidelines while using good judgment to solve design issues.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Established New England engineering design and consulting firm.
