Job description

Job Title: Specialist I Manufacturing - Sensor Assembly
Location: On-Site, Dallas, TX
Employment Type: Contract to Perm
Industry: Defense and Aerospace
Compensation: $22.00/hr
Schedule: 1st shift - 6:00am-3:30pm (every other Friday off) for approx. 6 months with possibility of moving to either 2nd shift or weekend shift
About the Opportunity:
Join a hands-on engineering team where you'll perform precision electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting on advanced electronic systems. In this role, you'll work with detailed technical drawings, small-scale components, and specialized tools to deliver high-quality, reliable products in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Ideal candidates bring strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a background in complex assembly.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform advanced electro-mechanical assembly, including prep, mechanical builds, harnesses, cables, PCB sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection within a production environment
  • Execute precision assembly, rework, and testing on complex electronic systems, working with small-scale and near-microscopic components
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, process flow instructions, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications to ensure accurate builds
  • Perform soldering and component installation to contract specifications using a wide range of tools and equipment
  • Troubleshoot, test, and support prototype and production units to ensure performance, quality, and reliability
  • Work with precision tools, wiring, chemicals, and epoxy while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet production deadlines, maintain quality standards, and ensure efficient workflow

What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical-mechanical assembly
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with small-scale / precision tools
