Job description


Install, Upgrade and configure Tableau server in clustered environment on Linux and Windows platforms. Responsible for the installation of supporting database drivers to allow connections on Tableau server. Responsible for moving the load balancers from F5 to Google Cloud Load Balancer. Work in renewing the load balancer and SSL certificates through HA Proxy. Responsible for the administration and Maintenance of Tableau server 2021.x, 2022.x, 2023.x., 2024.x, 2025.x. Create users, sites, Projects, and Responsible for the assigning the groups to project. Analyze the Tableau server logs to collect information about server events, server performance, and user activity. Responsible for managing user access and permissions on Tableau server. Responsible for troubleshooting the run time errors in the Tableau server application and providing RCA. Check connections from Tableau Desktop, Tableau server and various data sources and troubleshooting. Provide support for teams in activities such as troubleshooting connectivity and performance tuning. Monitor VM resources like CPU, Memory and Disk space using Solar Winds, New relic and Google cloud monitoring. Telecommuting and working from home permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time to various client sites.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science followed by 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive experience in the related occupations of Senior Consultant, Senior Systems Operations Engineer, or equivalent. Prior experience must include 5 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau; 5 years of experience with batch scripting and shell scripting for automation and server management; 5 years of experience with relational databases and connectivity troubleshooting. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time to various client sites.
RATE OF PAY: $133,973.00 - $135,000.00 per annum.
