JOB OVERVIEW

The Breakfast Attendant is a guest-focused hospitality role responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for resort guests. This position plays an important role in creating a positive impression and setting the tone for the guest's overall stay. The Breakfast Attendant prepares, presents, and maintains the Breakfast Buffet while providing friendly, attentive, and professional service that exceeds guest expectations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting breakfast environment. This role requires the ability to anticipate guest needs, respond to requests with a positive attitude, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Requires periods of standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude while creating a positive impression of the resort.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive to guest needs, answering questions, and assisting guests throughout the breakfast experience.
  • Prepare breakfast menu items and ensure the buffet is fully set and guest-ready prior to arrival.
  • Maintain an attractive, clean, and well-stocked buffet presentation throughout service hours.
  • Monitor and replenish food, beverages, condiments, and supplies as needed to ensure guests have an enjoyable breakfast experience.
  • Ensure food presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Assist guests with requests and concerns in a courteous and professional manner, escalating issues to the Supervisor when needed.
  • Clean and maintain the buffet, dining, and service areas according to established resort standards.
  • Ensure inventory is properly stocked, organized, and stored to support future breakfast operations.
  • Complete daily and weekly checklists through designated devices and accurately communicate completed tasks.
  • Monitor guest feedback and communicate comments, concerns, or suggestions to the Supervisor to enhance the guest experience.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth breakfast operations and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Mentor and train new associates while fostering a positive and team-oriented work environment.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or General Manager.
