Part-Time Weekend Cook
Element by Westin Kansas City Overland Park is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Weekend Cook to join our breakfast team!

About the Position:
This is a hands-on, guest-facing cooking position. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking our featured hot breakfast items right in front of our guests at our cook station.

Our breakfast features fresh, chef-inspired hot items that change throughout the week, such as Zucchini Egg White Scramble, Avocado Toast, Whole Wheat French Toast with Blueberry Agave, and more.
You will interact with guests while preparing their food and help create a welcoming, enjoyable breakfast experience.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare and cook fresh hot breakfast items in front of guests.
  • Interact with guests while cooking and provide friendly service.
  • Assist the chef with breakfast preparation and service.
  • Help bake pastries and prepare breakfast items.
  • Keep the cook station and kitchen clean and organized.
  • Refill and restock food and beverage items as needed.
  • Assist with dishes and cleaning during and after breakfast.
  • Wipe down and reset tables and dining areas.
  • Help prepare food and supplies for the following day.
  • Follow food safety and cleanliness standards.

Weekend Schedule:
Saturday & Sunday:
  • Start time: 6:00 AM.
  • Breakfast service: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM.
  • Typically finished around 12:00 PM, depending on business.
  • After breakfast service, you will help clean the kitchen and breakfast area and prepare for the following morning.
