Position: Route Service Driver
Brand: Krispy Kreme
Reports To: General Manager
Job Overview
The Route Service Driver is responsible for safely delivering Krispy Kreme products to assigned customer locations while providing professional, friendly service and maintaining product quality and brand standards. This role supports sales and guest satisfaction by ensuring accurate deliveries, proper product handling, route efficiency, and vehicle cleanliness while representing Krispy Kreme in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Route Delivery & Customer Service
  • Deliver Krispy Kreme products to assigned customer locations according to established routes and schedules.
  • Provide courteous, professional service to customers at each delivery location.
  • Verify product quantities, quality, and accuracy at delivery.
  • Communicate with customers regarding deliveries, product availability, and service issues.
  • Assist customers with unloading or carrying products as needed.

Vehicle Operation & Safety
  • Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization.
  • Follow all safety, security, and loss prevention procedures.

Product Handling & Inventory
  • Load, transport, and unload products while maintaining product quality and freshness.
  • Ensure proper handling, stacking, and securing of products during transport.
  • Complete delivery documentation, invoices, and route logs accurately.
  • Handle returns, credits, and product rotation according to company procedures.

Sales & Brand Representation
  • Represent Krispy Kreme brand standards and values during customer interactions.
  • Support upselling, promotional efforts, or merchandising initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of Krispy Kreme products, history, and current promotions.

Cleaning & Sanitation
  • Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle, delivery equipment, and storage containers.
  • Clean delivery racks, trays, and equipment as assigned.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks at customer locations if required by service agreements.
  • Perform any other cleaning or side work tasks assigned by management.

Operational Support
  • Communicate route issues, customer concerns, or operational needs to management.
  • Utilize route, maintenance, and delivery logs as required.
  • Support shop or distribution operations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
