Job description

UBEO Business Services, the premier provider of business technology products and services, is seeking to hire a Delivery Driver to join our team in Reno, NV.
UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions. Primary products include Xerox, Ricoh, Canon and Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment and Kyocera printers. UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations.
The primary responsibilities of this position is as follows:
Department: Supply Chain
Reports To: Route Supervisor
FLSA Status: Full Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly
Purpose
This position is responsible for delivery, removal, relocation and installation of office equipment. Responsible for proper handling, loading and transporting of equipment while maintaining proper contact with the customer, route supervisor, dispatch and sales personnel. Work closely with appropriate personnel to ensure deliveries & paperwork are completed in a timely manner. Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. Miscellaneous tasks assigned as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure all safety and security standards are met during vehicle pre-check.
  • Maintain exemplary customer relations
  • Follow best practices for safety both on the road and while loading or unloading company truck. Ensure equipment is secured in place.
  • Keep inventory neat, clean and organized in and out of the warehouse.
  • Keep Delivery Vehicle(s) clean, organized and maintained.
  • Relay any necessary information in a timely, professional manner to help desk or service department.
  • Report activity accurately and timely through paperwork and technology.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction prior to leaving and provide them a bridge to the proper person within the company should there be a situation that needs to be addressed. Always leave customer location the way you found it.
  • Have basic knowledge of and comply with DOT rules and regulations.
  • Perform other activities that support UBEO BUSINESS SERVICES and our Sales/Service organization.
