Job description

We’re looking for a Supervisor to help lead the team at our brand-new family entertainment facility opening soon at Pacific View, Ventura!
Are you into video games, bowling, karaoke? Are you friendly, outgoing? Do you enjoy being around people and work in a fun environment? Then you’re the kind of person we’d love to hire!
The Bowling Supervisor ensures the Bowling and Events Department functions operationally and consistently to meet the marketing and sales goals of the company:
  • Please note you must have a High School Diploma or GED to apply.
  • Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.
  • All of management will handle and serve alcohol - as such, you must be at least 21 years or older.

Essential Duties:

Customer Service:
  • Provide superior customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
  • Provides customers with bowling tips and techniques.
  • Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.

Team Management:
  • Coaches, and develops effective staff for the Bowling and Events Department.
  • Reviews department time sheets for accuracy of hours and overtime.

Sales:
  • Responsible for the sales and profit projections of the bowling and events department.
  • Proactively supports any promotional activities within the store.
Auditing / Compliance:
  • Audits refund and/or credits against itemized sales from the previous day; and cash drawers and transactions.
  • Audits and track special events.
  • Creates Daily Audit Report with sales information and auditing discoveries for store management.
Operations / Facility Management:
  • Assures that the facility is always clean and organized.
  • Ensures satisfactory maintenance, appearance and condition of assigned facilities.
  • Enforces compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy pertaining to safety and loss prevention.
  • Complies with all OSHA requirements.

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years hospitality management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected.
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
  • Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times.
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
