We are seeking a Bookkeeper on behalf of a client located in the Greater Baltimore area. This role supports daily financial operations by maintaining accurate records, managing vendor payments, assisting with payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting procedures. The position is fully in-person and requires strong attention to detail and experience with bookkeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process using QuickBooks
• Verify accuracy of financial entries within bookkeeping software
• Manage payments to local vendors and suppliers related to branch operations
• Reconcile bank statements against company ledger in QuickBooks
• Run payroll for employees in coordination with the branch manager
• Communicate with headquarters to ensure financial processes and procedures are followed correctly
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
