  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain specialized laboratory instrumentation, including fluorescence-based plate reader systems such as FLIPR or comparable technologies.
  • Support high-throughput screening (HTS) and assay-driven workflows to enable efficient data generation.
  • Culture, maintain, and handle cell lines for experimental use, ensuring cell quality and consistency.
  • Generate, analyze, and interpret experimental data, applying appropriate statistical and analytical tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous quality control procedures and adherence to laboratory standards.
  • Prepare, organize, and summarize datasets, experimental results, and reports for scientific review and decision-making.
  • Use electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs) to document experiments, procedures, and results in a clear and compliant manner.
  • Collaborate closely with laboratory team members to support ongoing research activities and shared project goals.
  • Assist with transferring outsourced assay activities back into internal laboratory operations, including assay transfer and implementation.
  • Contribute to assay validation and laboratory process implementation to improve efficiency and reproducibility.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain accurate experimental records in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Work effectively in a high-throughput, plate-based laboratory environment while managing multiple experiments and priorities.
Essential Skills
  • Hands-on experience performing plate-based biological assays in an industry or research setting.
  • Experience with FLIPR (Fluorescence Imaging Plate Reader) or comparable fluorescence-based plate reader technology.
  • Proficiency in operating laboratory instrumentation and associated software platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate, analyze, and interpret experimental data with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in in vitro pharmacology and familiarity with fluorescence-based assay technologies.
  • Experience supporting high-throughput screening (HTS) workflows and assay-driven processes.
  • Cell culture experience, including maintaining and handling cell lines for experimental use.
  • Experience using GraphPad Prism for data analysis and data visualization.
  • Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs) for experiment documentation.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, contract research organization (CRO), or comparable research environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to data quality and reproducibility.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a laboratory team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research organization (CRO) environment.
  • Familiarity with assay transfer, assay validation, and laboratory process implementation.
  • Experience in plate-based, high-throughput laboratory environments.
  • Experience with laboratory automation and automated assay workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple experiments, datasets, and documentation requirements.
  • Effective communication skills to present experimental findings and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.
