Radiologic Technologist

Position Summary:

Park Nicollet Radiology team members partner with providers to ensure that each patient has a safe, caring experience. We value teamwork and partnering because it promotes safety, quality and caring for everyone we work with. Working with Park Nicollet Radiology means you make a difference every single day! Performs high quality and accurate radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Applies knowledge of radiation protection, emergency protocols and procedures. Performs tasks to comply with regulatory standards. Educates and trains others on the operation of all equipment, procedures, image quality and exposure techniques.

Work Schedule:

12-hour overnight weekend Baylor. Includes holidays

Required Qualifications:

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry is required and must be maintained.

Must secure CPR certification within 6 months and continuously maintain.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Problem solving skills and discretion with patient information is also required.

Computer knowledge or experience.

The ability to exercise good judgment is important.

Must exhibit strong interpersonal and team building skills.

Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.

Must demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning, and proper application of radiographic principles.

Must possess the ability to operate the following pieces of equipment safely and efficiently: modality imaging devices, patient transfer devices, security system, fire alarms, emergency equipment, PC (including e-mail), printer, voice documentation devices, EMR, fax and photocopier.

Must be willing to train and maintain competency in the operation of new equipment and technology.
