Beverage Supervisor
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Beverage Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Daylene's beverage team in their daily operations, including assisting behind the bar, interacting with guests, and overseeing a sage workplace.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for all beverage outlets within the Resort
  • Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the venue's recipes, portioning, and serving standards.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure that the bartenders/barbacks are providing all orders on time and made with quality and consistency, according to specifications.
  • Assist Manager to develop, coach, and train new staff and existing staff in all areas of managerial and professional development

What We're Looking For
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
  • 3 years extensive experience in bar, restaurant, kitchen, hotel, resort management preferred
  • Flexible long hours are sometimes required; that could include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
