Job description

K & E Ventures is seeking Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Care Providers for afternoons or weekends to work with children and adults who have developmental disabilities. Our caregivers work in the family home or out in the community assisting those individuals with special needs. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, innovative and flexible.

Direct Support Professional - Respite/Habilitation/Attendant Care

Direct Support Professionals help children and adults be successful in their home and out in the community. They are hired to work one-on-one with individuals and are scheduled based on the needs of the individual(s). Services include; Respite, offering a break to parents or guardians with care from a specialized provider; Habilitation, teaching skill building and independence; and Attendant Care, assisting with cooking, cleaning or personal care.

We are currently hiring providers in the South East Valley.

Training is offered prior to employment if currently incomplete or expired.

Skills/Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Must pass background check
  • Be CPR/First Aid certified
  • Attend Article 9 training (AZ rules and regulations regarding abuse, confidentiality and client rights)
  • Obtain an AZ Department Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Have a valid AZ driver's license or State ID
