Job description

Job Summary:

Avfuel is seeking to add a Supply Analyst to our thriving aviation organization. With an extremely stable and consistent history, the company has served the industry for 47 years. Avfuel Corporation is part of the global aviation marketplace offering an array of services from fuel, equipment and training, to marketing and sales consultation. With a 22% market share, Avfuel is the leading aviation fuel supply company in a competitive international market. Our customers include: fixed-base operators, airports, corporate flight departments, helicopter operators, commercial airlines, cargo haulers and government and military entities. We value service to them and our fellow colleagues above all else.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Airline Tenders
    • Determine supply source for airport locations
    • Confirm volume availability and pricing
    • Maintain Databases
    • Internal/External follow up upon award notification
  • Scheduling/Inventory Control
    • Forecasting, nominating and scheduling on pipelines
    • Maintain inventories daily
    • Determine optimal stock levels and reorder points
    • Coordinate stocking of product inventory
  • Liaison between Supply and Dispatch
    • Assist with Terminal Outages, Loading issues and Allocations
    • Rotation in afterhours/weekend on call
    • Terminal/Supply Contract Compliance

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to multi task in a fast pace environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well organized, excellent planning and decision-making skills
  • Requires the knowledge and ability to use computer software such as MS Office Suite and CRM databases, strong working Excel skills preferred
  • Strong personal accountability with track record for delivering on deadlines
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships as well as resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Initiate cost and time saving processes to insure maximum efficiencies

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Aviation, or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Be able to sit for long periods of time.
