Earning Potential: $80,000–$130,000+ annually
Typical Flagged Hours: Production bonus starts at 35 billed hours per week

About All About Automotive

All About Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician in Portland, OR, offering $35–$50/hour base pay plus production bonus opportunities. This Monday–Friday position has no weekends and provides hourly compensation, production incentives, consistent workflow, and advanced diagnostic work on Domestic and Asian vehicles. Technicians work in an organized 8-bay facility with modern diagnostic equipment and an established Digital Vehicle Inspection process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns
  • Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and repairs
  • Diagnose and repair Domestic and Asian vehicles
  • Complete and document Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
  • Build accurate repair plans and parts lists
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to maintain efficient workflow
  • Complete quality repairs while maintaining strong productivity

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional automotive technician experience preferred
  • Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to complete complex repairs independently
  • Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) software experience preferred
  • ASE Certifications preferred
