With the acquisition of Eckler's in 2022, a pioneer in classic car restoration & modification for over 60 years, Turn5's catalog of brands has expanded to now offer aftermarket automotive products for vehicles as classic as the Model T.
Our purpose, however, extends beyond selling car parts. We have a commitment to creating meaningful customer experiences at every step of their journey. Whether it's supplying a unique product that customizes the look and feel of their ride, providing thousands of educational videos for the DIYer or leveraging user generated content to inspire even the most experienced owner, we are obsessed with ensuring we reach as many like-minded gearheads across the globe.
To continue our growth path, we need a Remote Data Analyst to leverage analytics technology to create, update, and analyze reports for various business units and processes.
As a part of the Product Manage Team, the Data Analyst will be responsible for leveraging MS SQL Server and Tableau to create, update, maintain, and analyze reports for various business units and/or processes throughout Turn5. This position will have a focus on sales, marketing, and product analysis. The Data Analyst is primarily responsible for scoping requirements for reports, developing metrics and dashboards, and collaborating with representatives from across Turn5's departments to contribute to analytics and data projects.
Year 1 is going to be about:
  • Update, maintain, and analyze all product management and merchandising reports and other department reports as needed
  • Develop reports and dashboards using data visualization tools, such as Tableau, and data querying languages such as SQL and TSQL.
  • Triage, prioritize, manage, and resolve any data related requests and issues generated to the Product Management department.
  • Discover opportunities for improvement within reporting and product management department processes and act to provide further insight or improvements.
  • Consistently and reliably work with the IT department to maintain databases and keep data clean.
  • Become a liaison between product management requests and the IT department, making sure all requirements from an IT perspective are met

We can't skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a "must" to be successful. So, we need you to have:
  • 1+ year(s) of experience working with large data sets in MS SQL Server Environments
  • BA/BS in IT, marketing, e-commerce, economics, mathematics, or other related degrees
  • Excellent analytical skills: including being able to quality-assure, clean, and analyze large data sets in order to draw conclusions and develop recommendations
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in Tableau
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quality-assure, clean, and analyze large data sets
  • Understanding of e-commerce marketing channels
  • Proficiency in Access a plus but not a requirement
