Job description

We are seeking experienced Autobody Paint & Body Technicians to join our growing team at Auffenberg Dealer Group in Shiloh, Illinois. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of auto body repair services on a variety of vehicles.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Priming, Prepping, Sanding, Masking for Paint
- Conducting full vehicle inspections to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairs
- Repairing and replacing damaged body parts, such as doors, fenders, and bumpers
- Straightening and aligning frames and chassis
- Welding and soldering damaged areas
- Prepping and painting vehicles to match original factory specifications
- Repair and refinish damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Work efficiently and accurately to meet or exceed deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret repair orders and estimates
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- I-CAR certification is a plus
- Proficient in all aspects of body repair and refinishing
- Knowledge of frame repair and measuring techniques
- Experience with advanced repair techniques such as welding, riveting, and bonding
