Job description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Plastic Repair Technician to join the team. You will be reponsible for prepping plastic parts for top coats. The ideal candidate will have experience with polishing scratches, priming, and inspection of automobile plastic components (bumpers, front and rear). This is a great opportunity to join an established Plastic repair facility with growth and career advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Prepping plastic parts for topcoat
- Applying adhesion promoter
- Reinspecting plastic parts for any flaws
- Feather edging repair material
- Applying final topcoats (water born primer)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an auto body prepper or technician is preferred
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in auto body repair
- Proficient in the use of most auto body tools for prepping and feather edging
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces.
