Description
The Hilton DFW Lakes has a current opening for a Purchasing Clerk.
Responsibilities for the position include:
Receive all deliveries, prepare weekly bid sheets, review requisitions, and prepare all daily inventories. Review par levels and order product to meet current business demands. Process invoices, extend all requisitions, and deliver packages, food and beverage.
  • Responsible for taking all daily inventories including produce, freezer, and beverage
  • Accurately process day's invoices by end of shift.
  • Process all requisitions are by end of shift.
  • Review status of stock on Friday and order what is needed for the weekend.
  • Assist Storeroom manager with end of month inventories
  • Receive packages and deliveries for groups

This is a full time position located in Grapevine Texas. Hours are 6:00 am to 2:30. Days vary and include weekends and holidays.

Requirements
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with all vendors, managers, and delivery persons.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds regularly.

1 year previous experience in purchasing/storeroom. Knowledge of food and beverage.Ability to use Excel spreadsheets for inventories.
