Job description

Assembler I - 1st Shift (3 Openings!)

Location: East Providence, RI
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

We are currently hiring 3 Assembler I team members for a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment in East Providence, RI. If you have experience assembling small parts, medical devices, or working in manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you!

Attendance and reliability are extremely important for this position, so we're looking for dependable candidates who enjoy working as part of a team.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble small parts and products following work instructions
  • Inspect and test products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Package and label finished products
  • Complete basic production paperwork and documentation
  • Perform quality checks on finished products
  • Rework products when needed
  • Operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools
  • Keep your work area clean and organized
  • Cross-train in other production areas as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
  • Medical device or small parts assembly experience is a plus
  • Inspection or quality control experience is helpful
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

  • Stand or sit throughout the shift
  • Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
  • Use hands for repetitive assembly work
  • Work in a manufacturing environment
