Job Title: Apprentice Electrician

Project Location: Hailiang Copper Facility – Sealy, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary

Tiger Star Construction is seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to assist with the electrical construction and build-out of the Hailiang Copper manufacturing facility in Sealy, Texas. This role supports journeyman and master electricians in installing electrical systems for industrial facilities and production lines while gaining hands-on experience in a large-scale construction environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist journeyman and master electricians with installation of electrical systems, including:

    • Conduit bending and installation (EMT, rigid, PVC)

    • Pulling and labeling wire and cable

    • Installing fixtures, panels, receptacles, and devices

  • Support electrical work related to facility infrastructure and production equipment

  • Learn to read and interpret basic electrical drawings and blueprints

  • Perform material handling, tool setup, and jobsite preparation

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow all Tiger Star Construction, site, and OSHA safety policies

  • Participate in on-the-job training and apprenticeship coursework (if applicable)


Qualifications
  • Registered Apprentice Electrician or enrollment in an approved apprenticeship program (preferred)

  • Basic knowledge of electrical tools and construction practices

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

  • Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Sealy, TX


Physical & Work Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work with hands for extended periods
