The Electrical Apprentice is a field-based trainee working alongside our Journeymen. Each apprentice will gain practical, supervised jobsite experience while attending required classroom training. This role supports 48 Electrics mission by learning and applying electrical trade skills in accordance with the NEC, OSHA, and NFPA 70E standards while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.


Apprentice Electricians must have their own hand tools, reliable transportation, be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a drug test and background check. We work in a highly professional environment, not a general construction jobsite. Professionalism is a requirement.


Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for a 10-hour work shift
  • Completing overhead work for full-day assignments
  • Experience in building, renovating, or maintaining electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is not color blind
  • Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
  • Climb ladders and operate equipment at all heights
  • Able to lift 51 lbs. above your head
