Job Title: Plumber Assistant
Job Description

Assist journeyman and master plumbers with plumbing installations and repairs, focusing on both residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Install water supply lines, drain waste vent (DWV) systems, fixtures, and plumbing equipment.
  • Support plumbing service calls, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
  • Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations and maintenance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment safely.
  • Assist with pipe cutting, threading, soldering, brazing, and assembly.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and project managers.
  • Complete required paperwork, work orders, and daily reports.
  • Travel to project locations as needed, including occasional overnight travel.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in plumbing, technician, and construction tasks.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in construction, mechanical, HVAC, pipefitting, labor, or plumbing is preferred.
