Job description

Nytech Heating & Cooling started as two guys and a couple of vans doing ductwork. Over the years, we've built, expanded, and grown into the market leaders we are today dominating the Douglas County market. And we're just getting started. There's a reason we've never had a down year, never laid anyone off, and never had to tighten our belt.
At Nytech, we don't just hire employees-we develop careers. Our experienced, fully licensed plumbers are committed to training the next generation of professionals through hands-on learning, daily coaching, and real-world experience.
In Colorado, becoming a licensed plumber requires completing apprenticeship requirements, gaining the necessary hours and experience, and passing state licensing exams. Nytech has a proven track record of helping team members successfully navigate this process, maintaining a 100% success rate for eligible employees pursuing licensure.
We're not looking for someone who already knows everything. We're looking for individuals who are:
  • Hungry to learn
  • Humble and coachable
  • Dependable and hardworking
  • Aligned with our core values
  • Interested in building a long-term career, not just finding a job

At Nytech, we focus on education, craftsmanship, and customer service-not high-pressure sales. If you're looking for a company to work with, not just for, and want the opportunity to build a rewarding career in the plumbing industry, Nytech could be the place you call home.
What We Offer (Beyond a Great Starting Pay):
  • Competitive Pay: $19-$22/hour, based on experience.
  • Nearly 100% company-paid healthcare premiums
  • Consistent, year-round work
  • Bonus and incentive opportunities
  • Paid time off + paid holidays
  • 401(k) with competitive company match and zero vesting period
  • Lucrative employee referral program (ongoing bonuses as long as your referral stays!)
  • Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
  • Company-provided uniform and tablet
  • Paid training and clear career path toward licensure and advancement

What You'll Do:
  • Assist licensed plumbers with residential plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
  • Learn plumbing systems, codes, tools, and best practices through hands-on experience
  • Support service calls including water heaters, faucets, leaks, drains, and fixtures
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and assist with truck inventory
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company standards

What We're Looking For:
  • 1+ year of plumbing or construction-related experience preferred (but not required)
  • Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a plumbing apprenticeship program
  • Strong desire to learn the trade and grow into a licensed plumber
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools

Now Is Your Time - Apply Today and Start Building Your Career with Nytech!
