Job Summary
We are seeking an Animal Care Giver to join our team! As an Animal Care Giver, you will spend your days tending to the animals under our care, including following guidelines for feeding, refilling water bowls, and offering treats and companionship. You will also be responsible for ensuring the environment is clean and safe for all the animals as well as walking or socializing animals as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with all dog breeds, can work on their feet for long periods of time, and can work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Follow guidelines to feed all breeds of dogs, ensuring the proper dietary guidelines are followed
  • Clean and maintain pet enclosures so that every animal under your care has a safe, healthy living environment
  • Socialize and exercise animals under your care as needed
  • Interact with the dogs, providing a positive human experience
  • Maintain proper records of the dogs care given throughout your shift
Qualifications
  • Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and types
  • Must be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of time
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite
