Job description

Locum Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Woodworth, WI. WI license preferred.



  • Monday - Friday, Weekends Call Only.
  • Surgical hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm, 6:30 A.M. arrival for 7:00AM start, if block needed.
  • Typical anesthesia hours worked: 6-12 hrs.
  • Pager or in house: Pager, or we use TigerConnect application on cell phone.
  • Weeknight on call hours: Approximately 4:00PM- 7:00AM, there are three providers on call currently, one for CV, General and OB.
  • Weekend on call hours: 8:00AM-8:00AM.
  • Solo call or Shared with CRNA: Solo.
  • Is the on call day worked: Yes.
  • Post call day off: Sometimes.
  • Types of Case: General surgery & must be comfortable with OB. Estimate 90% of cases are performed by a physician themselves.
  • All cardiac cases are completed by a physician. When working with CRNAs he may be with one or two but that would only occur if he would be the anesthesiologist in charge for the day.
  • EMR: EPIC.
  • # Of ORs: We run 8-11 OR rooms daily for 7-8 blocks, depending on types of surgery blocks scheduled and procedure volume.
  • Outpatient GI Center has two procedure rooms and the Inpatient GI area runs 2 procedure rooms.
  • # MD's and # CRNA's in practice: 9 anesthesiologists and 2 CRNA's
  • Covid Vaccine Required: Yes with exemption forms available.
  • Will cross credential at 3 sites.
  • Will accept candidates with active IMLC.
  • Emergency Privileges optional.
  • Credentialing: 30 - 60 days.
  • $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
  • $Competitive Rate weeknight call Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day Premium When Called In.
  • $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + car rental & gas + mileage (driving own car only) + parking + tolls + baggage fees + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
