A Weekend Anesthesia Tech is a healthcare professional who assists anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, primarily working weekends. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, stocking supplies, and ensuring patient safety. This role is critical in supporting surgical teams by ensuring all necessary tools and medications are ready for use. Weekend shifts may involve working in hospitals, surgical centers, or emergency settings.

What are the typical responsibilities of a weekend anesthesia tech during weekend shifts?

You may also be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, monitoring inventory, and supporting patient preparation in the operating room.
