Description
The BSA Specialist works closely with the BSA Officer managing and maintaining the bank's BSA/AML Compliance Program, including conducting periodic risk assessments, updating policies and procedures, and ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements. This position oversees the execution of all BSA/AML and OFAC compliance activities, collaborates with operational staff to ensure adherence across the organization, and manages the accurate and timely filing of required regulatory reports such as CTRs and SARs. The role also serves as the primary liaison for independent audits and regulatory examinations related to BSA/AML compliance.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in business or banking or 2 years in banking with a strong knowledge of bank systems and deposit and branch operations for BSA Program.
  • Computer experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Analytical ability with strong research and study skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
