Key job responsibilities:
Safety & Quality Leadership: Champion high safety and quality standards for both products and personnel.
Satellite Integration & Testing: Perform integration and testing of Leo satellites and complex subassemblies in cleanroom and ESD-controlled environments.
Hard ware Handling: Conduct rigging and critical lifts of bulky, sensitive hardware with precision and care.
Precision Tooling: Utilize calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, optical inspection devices, micrometers, and calipers.
Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Process Compliance: Execute work in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and work instructions
Non-Conformance Documentation: Identify and document non-conformities as required to ensure traceability and corrective action.
Digital Systems Use: Operate computer software programs including Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in SAP.
Collaboration & Improvement: Partner with Manufacturing Engineers (ME) to develop, refine, and document activities, driving continuous improvement opportunities.
Operational Support: Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain an efficient, safe, and effective work environment
Flexibility: Work overtime when required and adapt to working independently or collaboratively within a team.
Additional Requirements:
Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift time: Wed-Sat 4 / 10s (6:00 am - 4:30pm) may vary, depending on program needs
Able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive assembly operations
Able to climb and down ladders, work in tight spaces, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
Able to lift at least 25 lbs

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $38.50/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits are provided

A day in the life
The Integration Technician III is responsible for the assembly of Amazon Leo satellites

You will work closely with engineering, test, quality and operations teams to deliver Amazon Leo production hardware to final integration. Your day will involve hands-on responsibilities such as mechanical assembly, avionics integration, rigging, harnessing connections, fiber optic splicing and testing, requiring attention to detail, precision and adaptability. You'll ensure that every satellite build meets the highest standards of quality, workmanship, and safety, while maintaining strict timelines to support launch schedules.
