Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team. This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about sports medicine and committed to supporting the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes.

The successful candidate will provide athletic training services including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play management for collegiate student-athletes. This is a part-time, hourly position with a maximum of 25 hours per week, primarily focused on clinic coverage, injury rehabilitation, and weekend home event coverage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each of the below duties satisfactorily:

  • Provide athletic training services under the direction of the Team Physician and Sports Medicine staff.
  • Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries and illnesses.
  • Assist with injury prevention programs and return-to-play progression.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and treatment records.
  • Support daily operations of the Sports Medicine clinic.
  • Provide athletic training coverage for assigned practices, competitions, and weekend home events.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, coaches, student-athletes, and Sports Medicine staff regarding injury status and care plans.
  • Assist with emergency response and implementation of emergency action plans as needed.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as assigned.
