Job description

Shift Hours are: 7AM-7PM
Shifts are on a rotating 2-week schedule:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (48 hours)
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday (36 hours)
This rotation schedule provides:
  • Every other weekend off
  • 14 working days per month
  • Guaranteed overtime every other week

The Material Handler for tug carts Operations plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and efficiently move finished goods within the facility using a sit-down forklift and a Tug cart
Requirements
Role and Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Team Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues to coordinate tasks and ensure operational smoothness.
Goods Transportation: Operate sit-down forklifts for loading and moving finished products.
Oversized Pallet Management: Stage oversized pallets in a structured manner to facilitate easy pickup.
Material Staging: Ensure a steady supply of raw materials to production operators to avoid workflow interruptions.
Order Verification: Confirm the accuracy of orders prior to dispatch.
Safety Compliance: Adherence to all safety guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
Requirements
Required Skills / Abilities / Competencies
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Valid Drivers license
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of forklift experience is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • Basic math and measurement skills are essential.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Capacity to remain standing throughout the shift.

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of sustained employment in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.

Mental/Physical Requirements
  • Lifting Capacity: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. using correct lifting techniques.
  • Heat Tolerance: Capable of working in high-heat conditions.
  • Mobility: Role includes occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching, in addition to continuous standing and movement within the facility.
