Job Summary

This role is responsible for driving sales growth and supporting financial professionals through product expertise, sales coaching, and client engagement. The position serves as a key resource for agents by providing consultative sales support, product recommendations, and education on mutual funds, annuities, and life insurance solutions.

Essential Job Functions

Utilize knowledge of mutual funds, annuities, life insurance, and securities products to support agents in identifying and addressing client financial planning needs. Partner with agents to uncover sales opportunities, position suitable financial solutions, and help drive new business growth. Conduct proactive outbound calls to agents to discuss sales opportunities, product strategies, marketing campaigns, and business development initiatives. Provide product guidance, competitive positioning, sales concepts, and market insights to help agents effectively present financial solutions to clients. Educate and coach agents on product features, benefits, suitability considerations, and sales best practices. Develop expertise in financial planning concepts, retirement income strategies, wealth accumulation, risk management, and insurance solutions. Support agents through the sales process, including product selection, case design, application submission, and follow-up activities. Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, market conditions, compliance requirements, and investment products. Build and maintain strong relationships with agents to increase engagement, production, and overall sales results. Track sales activities, agent interactions, pipeline opportunities, and follow-up commitments using company systems and CRM tools. Partner with internal stakeholders to execute sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and territory growth strategies. Participate in training, product launches, sales meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance product and sales expertise. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, agent experience, and business outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field preferred. FINRA Series 6 and 63 required within 90 days of hire. State Life Insurance License preferred or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.

Experience Requirements

2+ years of experience in sales. Financial services sales, wholesaling, brokerage, insurance, or investment product support preferred. Knowledge/Interest in mutual funds, annuities, life insurance, and retirement planning solutions. Proven ability to develop relationships, uncover sales opportunities, and influence business results. Experience conducting consultative sales conversations. Preferably with financial professionals or customers. Strong verbal communication, presentation, and business development skills. Brokerage, insurance, or financial planning industry experience preferred.

Physical Actions

Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (e.g. others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects. Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.

Physical Environment

This position operates in an open office working environment which will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
