PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in Gautier, MS.

We have overnight and weekend shifts available, with Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities. Whether you're looking for consistent overnight hours or additional weekend shifts, this case offers several scheduling options.

AVAILABLE SCHEDULE

???? Overnight Shifts

  • Sunday–Thursday: 9:00 PM–9:00 AM

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 4-year-old pediatric patient in the comfort of their home.

Clinical needs include:

  • Seizure precautions and monitoring

  • G-tube feedings and care

  • Medication administration

  • Suctioning and airway management

  • Ongoing nursing assessment and monitoring

  • Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift, allowing for focused assessment, intervention, and support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care

  • Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition

  • Maintain seizure precautions and respond appropriately to seizure activity

  • Administer G-tube feedings, medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions

  • Perform suctioning and airway management as ordered and clinically indicated

  • Assist with activities of daily living as needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

  • Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team

  • Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi

  • Current BLS certification

  • Current TB screening within the past 12 months

  • Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

  • Pediatric, private duty, seizure, G-tube, or airway management experience is a plus
